This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Administrative professional to provide high-level administrative support to the University’s Rector, Deans, and Senior Staff. The successful candidate will work in a modern and fast-paced environment, and report to the Rector.
Main responsibilities include:
- Perform a variety of administrative duties and provides secretarial support to the executives in charge
- Organise incoming workflow, prioritize incoming requests, maintain a control system, and follow-up on various issues to ensure timely response
- Perform accurate research and analysis
- Prepare and edits correspondences, reports, and presentations
- Plan and organise logistical aspects of meetings and events, and record minutes of meetings when necessary
- Maintain updated administrative files and records
- Coordinate activities and act as liaison to the executives in charge
- Provide back-up support to other secretarial support staff whenever needed.
- Arrange travel and accommodation
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by executives.
Profile of the ideal candidate :
- University degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in a dynamic Administrative position, ideally within an academic institution
- Exposure to Human Resources and/or Accounting practices / tasks will be considered an advantage
- Very good organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Very good multitasking skills, with an ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion
- Tech savvy – proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with an ability to adapt to new software
- Fluent in English. Fluency in Greek will be considered an advantage
