The American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo is governed by the Board of Trustees of the American University of Beirut. The board governs the university by establishing policy and exercising fiduciary responsibility for the long-term well-being of the institution. The board and its Executive Committee act on the recommendations from board committees, university offices, and the University Senate.
