Dr. Fouad Zablith earned his PhD from the Knowledge Media Institute in the UK in 2011. He graduated with distinction, earning an MS in knowledge and data management from the British University in Dubai and the University of Edinburgh in 2007. He holds a double major from AUB with a BBA in operations and information management (2002) and a BS in computer science (2003). Zablith’s research focuses primarily on knowledge representation, processing, and sharing. He is particularly interested in leveraging emerging digital technologies to convert data into actionable knowledge that supports individuals and organizations in achieving their objectives. His research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals such as Artificial Intelligence, Journal of Business Research, Applied Mathematical Modelling, and Long Range Planning, among others, as well as in conference proceedings and book chapters. His work holds practical significance in e-government, educational, and e-commerce domains.

He is an associate professor of business information and decision systems at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) at the American University of Beirut (AUB). He is currently teaching courses on business data analytics and visualization at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo). .
